selected by you. All of these Plans must provide some type of
Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage) which will be discussed under

Costs for Plan D Prescription Drug Coverage
Costs for Plan D Prescription Drug Coverage also vary by the
programs selected by you. The Standard Part D Coverage for 2009
is the minimum all companies have to offer. Joining a Part C (Medigap
or Supplemental) Plan may also affect your Prescription Drug costs.
If you enroll in a Medicare drug plan when you are first eligible
you won't have to pay a late-enrollment penalty. Every year (from
November 15 - December 31), you can switch to a different Medicare
drug plan if your plan coverage changes or your needs change.
When you join or switch to a new Medicare drug plan, your coverage
will generally begin on January 1 of the following year.
